Can get in trouble

The new development comes from cybersecurity major Kaspersky.  The team's researcher recently shared a report that the Trojan Trida FMWhatsApp 16.80.0 affects a modified version of WhatsApp.  Such modified apps provide additional convenience to the users.  Which is not found in the original WhatsApp.  Downloading the FMWhatsApp modified app can get you in trouble.

According to Kaspersky, Trojan Triadas has now entered a new version of FMWhastApp with its own advertising software development kit.  If you launch the app, it is infected with Trojan.  So this device will collect the identifier and send it back to a remote server.  That being said, the server registers the new device and will return a link for a payload.  The trojan in the app then downloads this payload to the infected device.  It then decrypts the content and launches it for management.
